About the Role

Become part of our core engineering team and help us build the next generation open source platform for building virtual worlds.

You will help us architect and build services, tools and APIs to facilitate monitoring, orchestration and edge cases for servers with massive scaling and maximum performance goals.

You will build new features, optimize existing ones and influence the vision for our data-oriented technology stack. Your work will be focused on scaling, cloud services and building load balancing tools as well as backend tools and services directly impacting the core network product.

You will work closely with our CTO, network programmers, backend programmers and the rest of the engineering team to help design, develop, deploy and maintain our code.


Full-time, On-site (Malmö, Sweden)


  • Design, implement and improve Go back-end code
  • Scaling (Kubernetes)
  • Develop and maintain tools and products which make using cloud-managed & large-scale Kubernetes installations super accessible
  • Cloud services (AWS, Google, Azure)
  • Build load balancing tools
  • Building backend tools and services directly impacting the core network product


We’re looking for someone who has:

  • 5+ years of experience in backend and/or scale engineering
  • Experience scaling systems to a large number of users and across different regions
